1 Cor 3:16
Do you not know that you are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Psalm 90:12
Lord, Make us know the shortess of our life
that we may gain wisdom of heart.
Isaiah 43:4
You are precious in my eyes
A human life may sometimes look too short to be worth much, but God, who sees the works of his hands from the perspective
of enduring love, clothes even the passing wildflowers with splendor. We are only dust - but beloved dust!
Intercessions
The Lord Jesus Christ took on our fragile flesh and made of it a temple for the living God. With joyful confidence,
let us pray:
Response: Let your favor be upon us
O God, we are the works of your hands:
- shape us in the image of Christ our Lord
R
O God, we are but a moment in the worlds history:
- teach us to store up treasure in heaven by the good we do on earth
R
O God, we fear mortality we cannot cure:
- grant insight and faith to all those who do the work of the work of medical research
R
O God, we are saddened by the death of those we love:
- bring them into everlasting joy of your presence

Personal Intentions
Our Father ...
O God of wisdom and love, you have made us as fragile as the flowers of the field, yet you have made us strong in the
hope of life everlasting. Teach us to see this day as a gift, that we may live it for your glory and render it back
to you in praise when evening falls, through Jesus Christ, your Son and our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
